The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Hon. Lukman Agbaje, has officially sworn in Mr. Ahmad Adeyinka Yusuf as the Secretary to the Local Government.
During the swearing-in ceremony held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Ayobo-Ipaja Secretariat, Igbogila, Ipaja, the Chairman congratulated Mr. Yusuf on his well-deserved appointment. He urged him to discharge his responsibilities with integrity, diligence, and a strong commitment to public service, emphasizing that the role is vital to the effective administration and continued development of the council.
Earlier in the programme, the Head of Administration, Mrs. Bankole-Bawa Funmibi, warmly received guests and congratulated the newly appointed Secretary. She expressed confidence that his appointment would further strengthen the administrative capacity of the council.
The oath of office was thereafter administered, during which Mr. Ahmad Adeyinka Yusuf formally took the oath, signifying his commitment to faithfully perform the duties of the office in accordance with the laws guiding the council administration.
The Chairman also expressed confidence in the ability of the newly sworn-in Secretary to work harmoniously with the management and staff of the council in delivering quality governance and improving service delivery to the people of the community.
Dignitaries present at the ceremony included the Human Resources Officer, Mrs. Arowolo Abolaji, and the Leader of the Legislative House, Hon. Faruq Bamidele Adebayo, who attended alongside members of the legislative arm.
Also present was the Ayobo-Ipaja Party Chairman, Hon. Wole Aina, management team, and other stakeholders who gathered to witness the important occasion.
The inauguration ceremony marks another step in strengthening the administrative structure of the council as it continues its commitment to good governance and grassroots development within the local community.
