The Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Hon.(Dr). Lukman Abiodun Agbaje, ably represented by Hon. Ahmad Adeyinka Yusuf (SLG) has distributed 500 free forms for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination to indigent students in the council area.
Dr. Agbaje said the initiative was aimed at ensuring that financial challenges do not prevent qualified students from pursuing higher education.
He described education as a powerful tool for personal and societal transformation and urged beneficiaries to remain focused on their studies.
This support is an investment in your potential, and we expect excellence in return, he said.
The Council Manager, Funmi Bankole-Bawa, said the distribution of the examination forms was part of the council’s efforts to promote educational advancement among young people.
She added that the initiative aligns with the administration’s Renewed Hope and THEMES Plus development agenda.
Also speaking, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ayobo-Ipaja, Wale Aina, urged the students to justify the opportunity by studying hard and striving for academic success.
Community leaders present at the event also stressed the importance of education in shaping the future of young people.
