The Executive Chairman of Ayobo‑Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Dr.) Agbaje Lukmon Abiodun, has assured the newly deployed Divisional Police Officer of Ipaja Police Station, Superintendent of Police (SP) Endurance Ovwigho, of the council’s full support and cooperation in ensuring the safety of lives and property across the LCDA.
Dr. Agbaje gave the assurance during a courtesy visit by the DPO to his office, where both parties discussed the need for stronger collaboration in addressing security concerns within the community.
In his welcome address, the chairman commended the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force for their continued dedication and sacrifices in maintaining peace, law and order. He also highlighted key security concerns within the council area, stressing the importance of enhanced collaboration and effective community policing in tackling emerging challenges.
Agbaje expressed confidence in the leadership of SP Ovwigho and wished her a successful tenure, noting that her experience would further strengthen security operations in the area.
In her remarks, SP Ovwigho appreciated the chairman for the warm reception and pledged her commitment to working closely with the council authority and community stakeholders to address security challenges and improve policing within the LCDA.
She reaffirmed her readiness to foster stronger partnerships that would promote peace, security and community safety.
