In a move aimed at strengthening security and improving police operations, the Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Agbaje Lukmon Abiodun, has donated key ICT equipment to the Area ‘P’ Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force.
The items presented include HP computer systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units, an HP printer, a high-capacity Sharp photocopier, and a generating set to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the command’s daily operations.
The donation reflects the administration’s continued commitment to supporting law enforcement agencies and enhancing their capacity to protect lives and property within Ayobo-Ipaja and surrounding communities. By providing modern technological tools, the council aims to improve the efficiency of police operations and strengthen the fight against crime in the area.
Representing the Chairman during the presentation, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Babatunde Ajose, highlighted the council’s dedication to promoting digital policing and maintaining strong collaboration with security agencies. He noted that the Chairman remains focused on creating a safer environment for residents through strategic support for institutions responsible for maintaining law and order.
Also present at the event was the Head of the ICT Unit of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Mr. Olalekan Afolayan.
Responding on behalf of the command, the Area Commander, Fadeyi Olusegun, expressed gratitude to the council chairman for the donation. He noted that the equipment would greatly improve the command’s administrative processes and operational effectiveness.
Olusegun assured residents that the command remains committed to strengthening security efforts and ensuring the safety of lives and property across the area.
