Historical Evolution of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA

Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA originated from the administrative restructuring of Lagos State. Initially part of the old Ikeja Local Government created in 1967, and later Alimosho LGA formed in 1991, Ayobo-Ipaja became an autonomous LCDA on October 28th, 2003 following the creation of 37 new councils by the Lagos State Government under H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
