Ayobo–Ipaja LCDA Rolls Out Welfare and Sanitation Support

Initiative marks 100 days of good governance with targeted social and environmental interventions.

Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area today, 25th November 2025, held another impactful event in commemoration of the 100 days of good governance under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. Agbaje Lukman Abiodun at the Council’s Secretariat.

As part of the celebration activities, the Council distributed Ounje Irorun (food support packages) to residents and officially presented the newly introduced Ijoba Irorun refuse bags.

The event attracted community members, stakeholders, and residents who commended the administration’s efforts toward improving welfare and sanitation across the LCDA.

In his address, Hon. Dr. Agbaje Lukman Abiodun expressed his commitment to serving the community, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and participation in governance. He assured residents that the council will continue to prioritize projects that will improve the quality of life for all residents. He further reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to launching more people-centered programmes, ensuring that the impact of governance is felt across all wards and households in the LCDA.

The initiative underscores the Chairman’s commitment to reducing hardship among residents while also promoting environmental cleanliness and responsible waste management within Ayobo-Ipaja communities.
