Ayobo Area Office

The Area Officer serves as the primary administrative representative of the LCDA at the community level, overseeing daily government operations, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring that council policies and programmes are effectively implemented across their designated area. The role involves engaging with community leaders and residents, monitoring projects and public services such as sanitation, environmental health and works activities, addressing local challenges, and providing timely reports to the LCDA headquarters. By facilitating communication between the council and the grassroots, the Area Officer helps maintain smooth governance, strengthens community participation, and ensures that the needs and priorities of residents are promptly addressed.
