Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA Chairman Presents 2026 Budget Proposal to Legislative Council

The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Dr.) Agbaje Lukmon Abiodun, has presented the 2026 Proposed Budget to the 6th Legislative Council of the LCDA, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to good governance, economic development, and improved service delivery.

During the presentation, the Chairman highlighted key achievements recorded in the previous fiscal year, including notable interventions in infrastructure development, education support, community electrification, health-related initiatives, and revenue enhancement efforts. He attributed these accomplishments to effective collaboration between the executive and legislative arms, as well as the support of community stakeholders.

Hon. (Dr.) Agbaje Lukmon Abiodun explained that the 2026 budget proposal is designed to consolidate existing gains and expand development initiatives across critical sectors, with a strong focus on healthcare support, empowerment and skills acquisition programmes, completion of ongoing projects, and improved administrative efficiency.

The Chairman emphasized that the proposed budget aligns with the THEMES+ Agenda of the Lagos State Government, under the leadership of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and remains firmly rooted in the administration’s vision of inclusive growth and sustainable development.

He expressed appreciation to members of the Legislative Council, the management team, and residents of Ayobo-Ipaja for their continued cooperation and support, while assuring them of transparency and accountability in the implementation of the 2026 fiscal plan.
