Hon. Dr. Agbaje Lukman Holds Media Parley to Mark 100 Days in Office

Chairman highlights achievements, governance reforms, and development agenda of Ayobo–Ipaja LCDA.

The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Hon. Dr. Agbaje Lukman Abiodun today held an exclusive media parley at his office with accredited press officials as part of activities marking his first 100 days in office of good governance.

The parley served as a strategic platform to reflect on the administration’s achievements, strengthen transparency, and enhance communication between the Council and the media, both print and electronic. The media parley was also organized to ensure the dissemination of accurate, verified, and timely information regarding the progress recorded by the present administration within its first 100 days.

Speaking during the session, the Executive Chairman emphasized the importance of responsible media engagement in fostering good governance and sustaining public trust.

Hon. Dr. Agbaje noted that the exclusive meeting with press officials will provide an opportunity for firsthand briefing on developmental strides across the LCDA, reeling out his score cards on completed and ongoing infrastructural works, economic empowerment and social welfare programmes, environmental services, educational support initiatives, ICT and digital transformation, agriculture and food security, Tourism, Culture and Traditions, Community Engagement and Paternership including future policy directions.

The parley also provided room for strategic questions and feedback from media professionals present, enabling the administration to further refine its communication approaches as it sets the agenda for the next phase of governance.

The Chairman reiterated his administration’s dedication to inclusive leadership and assured residents of continued delivery of impactful developmental programmes.

As Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA celebrates 100 days of purposeful leadership, the exclusive media parley underscores the administration’s resolve to maintain strong government–media relations, promote transparent governance, and ensure meaningful engagement with all stakeholders.
