Activities mark Day 2 of Hon. Agbaje Lukman Abiodun’s 100 Days in Office.
As part of the ongoing 100-day initiatives by the Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Dr) Agbaje Lukman Abiodun, retirees within the council were celebrated and recognized for their dedicated service during Day 2 of the administration’s program.
The event also included the presentation of certificates to participants of the recently concluded in-house training program, aimed at enhancing skills and promoting lifelong learning among council staff.
A special guest from the Civil Service Commission, Director Ogunsakin Irewole, commended Hon. Agbaje for the initiative, describing it as “long overdue” and a positive step towards acknowledging the contributions of retirees. Director Ogunsakin further encouraged the retirees to prioritize their health by regularly checking their vitals and engaging in consistent physical exercise.
Hon. (Dr) Agbaje Lukman Abiodun, in his remarks, emphasized the administration’s commitment to the welfare of all council staff, past and present, and reiterated that the council will continue to create programs that support personal development, health, and wellbeing.
The celebration marks another milestone in the Executive Chairman’s vision to foster a supportive and appreciative environment within Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, setting a benchmark for inclusivity and employee recognition in local governance.
